Step into a weekend designed to inspire confidence, creativity, and connection. Brown Girls Read Summer Camp is a residential experience where girls come together to explore books that reflect their voices, stories, and imagination while building lasting friendships.
Throughout the weekend, campers will engage in hands-on activities that celebrate identity, self-expression, and leadership. From storytelling to goal-setting, each experience is designed to help girls see themselves as creators, leaders, and changemakers.
Camp Highlights Include:
- Create Your Own Brand workshop focused on confidence and personal storytelling
- Professional photo shoot celebrating each camper’s unique style
- Vision board sessions to map out goals and dreams
- Affirmation activities that build self-esteem and leadership skills
- Author panel discussions featuring Dinah Johnson and Ase Otite
Campers will leave with new friendships, fresh inspiration, and a stronger sense of who they are and who they want to become.
